Initial Meet & Greet
During our first 30-minute session, we will talk about expectations and how you believe Spiritual Direction will benefit you in the next steps of your life, whether that may be: new beginnings, transitions, or right now moments. I’m sure we will jump right in, and the Holy Spirit will move as the Spirit chooses. If we are a good fit, you will book your next session(s) based on a time and day that fits your schedule.

Individual Session
A time of holy listening. We meet monthly during a scheduled time for a one-hour session online Zoom, by phone, or in person. Together, we, soul companions, notice how the Spirit of God is moving right now in your life. I will listen attentively with compassion and confidentiality. I will love and receive your gift of story, prayer, or silence. You will share whatever your heart desires. You set the agenda for the session or come to the session with no agenda at all. You choose to do what works best for you on this faith walk together as we, soul companions, listen, watch, notice, and pray about “matters of the heart.”
$75 per session meets monthly for one hour.*
Ask about student rates.
*The cost should never be a hindrance to seeking spiritual direction. If you are unable to afford the investment at this time, let’s have a conversation about what might work for you and your budget.
Discerning Circles
Group Spiritual Direction
A time of holy listening with others. A group spiritual direction session composed of 4-5 people meets regularly to assist one another in an ongoing awareness of God in our lives. We commit to an honest relationship with God, even if it’s messy. We, soul companions, participate in the process of prayerful listening, silence, and response. We open our faith walk for others to consider. This is a nonjudgmental zone where giving advice is not the goal. During the “Discerning Circles” session, the Holy Spirit is the ultimate guide. We keep looking to God. Our desire is to remain in the presence of God, inviting God into the conversation.
$50 per person.
A cohort of four (4) people will meet monthly
for six (6) months. Each session is 2 hours.

Diary Scribblers
Diary Writing WORDshop
A time of holy listening, noticing, and writing with others. A group of 6-9 people meets for six (6) weeks. Using a blend of Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises and Angela’s Diary Keeping, learn to sharpen your ability to feel the “finger of God” (Ignatius) and “hear the whispers of God” (Angela) as you discern the movement of God in your life.
Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned diary-keeper, our time together will help you:
recognize what has formed your heartbeat.
trust the diary as a spiritual tool.
look at who you are becoming or have become.
focus your entire being on God.
notice. create. pray. love. laugh. dance. play.
Four-week sessions are four (4) weeks, 2 hours
$150 for four weeks or $40 per class

One day Retreat
Listening to Your Heartbeat
Take time to stop and breathe. Listen to your heartbeat through music and joy stretch movement, diary writing, notebook musing, guided biblical meditation, and poetry reading. Silence.
Just for one day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., free your mind to focus on what’s happening RIGHT NOW.
Take time to pray. reflect. listen. breathe. hear your heartbeat connecting to the heartbeat of God.
A day of “awakening sleeping spirits into fully-aliveness.”
